Ecole Magnolia offers private French programs, designed specifically for school-age children. Programs follow a proven French method – one widely and successfully used throughout Europe – offering a rich curriculum and strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Your Teacher Helen Taos
Helen Taos is a native French speaker with over 10 years’ experience teaching, using various French methods such as, Montessori, CNED, la method Ratus et ses amis, les Loustics, Jus d’orange and more, and is passionate about sharing the French language and culture.
Our Programs
Ecole Magnolia’s programs are rooted in conversation. Following a rich curriculum of reading, writing, and pronunciation, students are introduced to the French language – and culture – through an action oriented and creative approach. Programs are interactive and lively, and based on communication situations and simple activities. Taught by a native French speaker in small, online groups, set by school age, Ecole Magnolia’s programs ensure the best learning experience.
Rates
All programs are structured by age group:
5-8 years old | 9-12 years old
| 8-Week (Beginner) (1x/week) |
$200 | Introductory classes focus on logical progression and vocabulary building. Students become familiar with the French language sonority, and work on naming, describing, presenting, and introducing. |
| 12-Week (1x/week) |
$275 | Conversation classes focus on dialogue. Students learn to speak about themselves, their family, friends, and surroundings. |
| 24-Week (1x/week) |
$480 | Oral presentation classes work to cement the previously learned themes. Students continue to build on topics such as themselves, their family, friends, and surroundings, as well as their interests and building out descriptive language. |
| Customizable | $35/hr | All programs are customizable depending on your child’s needs. |
| Private Tutoring | $35/hr | All Private tutoring offers the opportunity to work one-on-one with your child. Whether your child is enrolled at Ecole Magnolia or another school programs, we work with all students to boost their confidence with all aspects of the learning the French language. |
